Castaway Cave is a dungeon in PMDO accessible from Base Camp. It is also available in Roguelocke mode.
This dungeon has "up" stairs on each floor, which allow the player to go back a floor, exiting on B1F. In order to fully clear the dungeon after reaching its end, the player must find the exit stairs on B1F.
Exploration
Rooms are generated on a grid using GridPathBranch, creating a simple path of connecting rooms. Round and cave type rooms can be found. Several rooms will also merge into larger rooms.
The size of the cells on each floor is 4x4. B1F-B3F generate with 9x7 cells, B4F-B7F have 10x8 cells, B7F-B10F have 10x8 cells, and B11F-B12F has 11x8 cells.
Water generates throughout the dungeon in high quantities.
At least one vault that can be opened with a switch is guaranteed to spawn on floors B1F-B12F.
Floor chests have a chance of spawning on floors B5F-B11F, which can be opened using a key.
In the release candidate, 1-3 move tutors will spawn on floors 1-12F. These tutors will teach Electric, Grass, or Dark-type moves.
Last Floor

On the last floor, the sea cradle can be found in one of the rooms. It contains a single
Mystery Egg, which is unique and can only be obtained once.
Taking the Treasure
The dungeon changes when the Mystery Egg is picked up by the player. The music track changes to You Shall Not Take the Treasure of the Sea.
There are no exit stairs present on the floor. Instead, the player must take reverse stairs to go back floors, aiming to reach the exit stairs on B1F. New Pokémon begin to spawn on the floors, attacking with far-reaching, status, and trapping moves that will slow down the player.
