The mysterious passage is a special dungeon floor that is encountered after mysteriosity has activated. It is entered from reaching a distortion tile in time when it is spawned.

Pokemon

The levels of all Pokémon encountered in a mysterious passage depend on the dungeon the passage was entered from, typically being exactly the same as the dungeon's suggested level. Unown are the exception to this, instead being 5 levels below the dungeon's level.

Unown

Unown appear in all mysterious passages, spawning as an assortment of different letters. Each dungeon has its own selection of Unown that can appear.

Audino

Audino will appear in the passages of any dungeon that allows experience gain.

Fossil Pokemon

Two fossil Pokémon are randomly selected from the spawn pool below to appear in each passage. The evolved versions are used if the dungeon is of advanced difficulty. No Fossil Pokemon will appear if the dungeon does not allow recruitment.

Some passages contain rare Pokémon that may be difficult to find in other dungeons. If the dungeon allows recruitment, the following Pokémon can appear depending on the difficulty of the dungeon:
