Welcome to the PMDO Wiki!

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Origins is a Pokémon fangame in which you control a team of Pokémon and explore Guildmaster Island. Your goal is to reach the fabled summit, and earning the right to lead a guild yourself. Reminiscent of Sky Peak arc in Explorers of Sky, you will find many other teams with similar goals and stories. Befriend wild Pokémon with Apricorns to add them to your team, and build an assembly of Pokémon worthy of reaching the top!

The main story is currently a demo, but the half-completed main story can be accessed through the release candidate setting. The game is open source (MIT license), and it can be downloaded from Github for Windows, Mac, and Linux. For instructions, see PMDOSetup.

PMDO comes with full mod support. Modders can use Dev Mode and Lua scripting to make changes to the game, or to create their own PMDO-based fangames. To get started, check out the Modding Hub, or join the Discord community for support from other modders.

A list of mods can be found at List of PMDO Mods, or on PMDO's GameBanana page.

PMDO is a part of the PMDCollab project, and is meant to serve as the fangame counterpart to SkyTemple ROMhacking.
