Zero to Hero is an ability in PMDO.
Effects
Palafin has two forms, Zero Form and Hero Form.
While in Zero Form, Palafin has 70 Attack, 72 Defense, 53 Special Attack, and 62 Special Defense.
While in Hero Form, all of these stats are greatly increased, rising to 160 Attack, 97 Defense, 106 Special Attack, and 87 Special Defense.
Palafin will begin the dungeon in one of these forms, switching to the other anytime it enters a new floor.
In Roguelocke mode, Palafin will always begin the dungeon in Hero Form. In Story mode, Palafin will begin the dungeon in the form opposite to that of what it was in town.
Zero to Hero can only be used by Palafin; if the ability is moved to another Pokémon using a move such as Skill Swap, that Pokémon will gain none of the ability's effects. If Palafin's ability is removed, it will still change forms upon entering the next floor.
