Effects
Simple doubles the effect of all stat changing moves, items, or abilities used on the Pokémon.
For instance, Growl lowers the Pokémon's Attack stat by 2 stages instead of 1, and Swords Dance increases the Pokémon's Attack stat by 4 stages instead of 2.
