Description	The Pokémon may find an item when it enters a new floor.

Pickup is an ability in PMDO.

Effects

Whenever the Pokémon enters a new floor, they have a 50% chance of finding a random item that can naturally spawn on that floor. The item will be given to the Pickup user as a held item, and will not spawn if there is no space in the bag, or if the Pokémon already has a held item. The item is not grabbed from somewhere else on the floor, but is instead spawned in when Pickup activates.

It's possible for Pickup to find a fake item, if they can spawn on that floor. If this happens, it will immediately trigger and spawn an enemy Pokémon.

Strategy

• If the player is hoping to find a specific item, Pickup can be used to increase the odds of finding it on each floor, especially if multiple users of the ability are brought in.
• Remember to un-equip your held item before entering a new floor, or Pickup cannot activate.
