Illusion is an ability in PMDO.
Effects
Upon entering a new floor, the Pokémon will disguise itself as one of the species that can spawn on that floor. If no Pokémon naturally spawn on that floor, such as in a boss arena or a floor with only preset Pokémon, the user will not disguise themself.
Any Pokémon of the same species as the disguised Pokémon will not attack the user, unless the user or an ally of the user attacks them first. If the enemy incidentally damages the user, such as with the splash damage of an attack that was aimed at another Pokémon, they will still not recognize the user as an enemy. If the user attacks a nearby ally of the Pokémon, they will still not recognize the user as an enemy.
If the user's ability is changed or removed while they are disguised, the disguise will still remain for the rest of the floor, and Pokémon of that species will still ignore the user.
While it is technically possible to move the Disguise ability onto other Pokémon with a move such as Skill Swap, it will have no effect, as disguise only activates upon entry to a new floor.
