Cud Chew

Cud Chew is an ability in PMDO.
Effects
After eating a berry, the Pokémon will receive the Cud Chew status, which lasts for 10 turns. Once the status has expired, the Pokémon will receive the effect of the berry a second time.
If another berry is eaten before the Cud Chew status expires, it will be overwritten and begin at 10 again. In this case, the effect of Cud Chew will be that of the second berry.
Strategy
Using Cud Chew
- After eating a Leppa Berry, the Pokémon then has 10 turns to freely use as many moves as it wants without running out of PP. This is a great time to either use set-up moves or strong attacks with a low PP count.
- The effect of a Sitrus Berry lasts 10 turns, meaning Cud Chew effectively doubles its effect.
Fighting Cud Chew
- While it is rare for enemy Pokémon to have and use berries, in the event that you do come across a Cud Chew user who uses one, try to either defeat them within 10 turns to prevent the second activation of the berry, or simply evade them for 10 turns before re-engaging in combat.
