A mission is a task given to the player by other Pokémon which requests them to do something in a dungeon. Each mission gives a reward when accomplished. All missions in the base game (as of current) are static, which become unlockable after enough time has passed and/or after certain conditions have been met.
Randomly generated missions can be added into the game by using the intergrated Enable Mission Board mod, although it is currently considered deprecated and will be replaced by Nebula's Mission Board in the future.
