Base Camp is the first camp on Guildmaster Island. It is just to the west of Base Town. The next camp is Forest Camp.

Story
Base Camp is the first location the player arrives at when they reach Guildmaster Island. At this time, the paths to the west and east are blocked by logs, forcing the player to enter Guildmaster Trail.
After the player wipes out of Guildmaster Trail, Noctowl appears and chide the player for entering Guildmaster Trail without preparation. He then prompts the player to enter their team's name, then suggests that the player either go east to Base Camp, north to Tropical Path, or speak to him to enter the Training Maze. He will then stand in front of the west path, blocking access to the Guild Hut until the player clears Guildmaster Trail.
Lost Sister
The player overhears Luxio and Noctowl discussing a lost Pokémon in Faultline Ridge that did not return when Luxio used an escape orb.
Lost Mother
Wingull reports that a Pokémon has washed ashore at a distant cave. This hints towards Castaway Cave being a place to visit to rescue her.
Team Steel
