Status Conditions
Status conditions, or statuses, are abnormal effects that may affect a Pokémon in battle. Status conditions can have either positive or negative effects.
Major status conditions
Poisoned
A poisoned Pokémon will take damage every turn for X turns. The Pokémon will take less damage if it waits in place on that turn.
Badly Poisoned
Badly poisoned Pokémon will increase the amount of damage taken by the poison every time they use a move.
Paralyzed
A paralyzed Pokémon will be unable to act every other turn. Paralysis lasts for 6 turns.
Burned
A burned Pokémon will have its Attack stat lowered, and will take damage every time it attacks.
Asleep
A sleeping Pokémon will be unable to act until it takes damage from an attack, or after X turns.
It is also possible to have a Pokémon spawn in a dungeon already asleep for a custom number of turns, including unlimited.
Frozen
A frozen Pokémon will be unable to act or take damage until X turns have passed. The Pokémon may be thawed early by having a Sacred Fire.

Confusion
A confused Pokémon may randomly turn to the left or right before acting. There is an equal chance for each the intended direction, one turn to the left, and one turn to the right, effectively cutting the accuracy of single-target moves to 33.3%.
