Same-Type Attack Bonus

Same-Type Attack Bonus, often abbreviated to STAB, is a damage boost that is applied to Pokemon that use moves which match their type.
Effect
In PMDO, unlike the main series boost of 1.5x, STAB adds a boost of ~1.3x, or 4/3. This bonus is increased to ~1.66 or 5/3 with the adaptability ability.
