The Hunger Seed is an item in PMDO.
Usage
When eaten, the Hunger Seed lowers belly by 25.
Strategy
Most Pokémon in a dungeon are spawned with the weak flag, meaning their belly starts at 25 and their total PP is cut in half. Throwing a Hunger Seed at these Pokémon will deplete their belly fully, causing them to begin taking damage from starvation. They will also no longer move or perform any moves, only using the regular attack if an enemy is adjacent to them.
This means that, in dungeons with weak Pokémon, a single Hunger Seed can be hurled at an enemy to make it starve.
Hunger Seeds may also be used to make Pokémon that use Bug Bite starve upon using the move on the player’s party.
