Add Tunnel Step

The Add Tunnel Step is a floor generation step. Its typical priority is 2.

Usage

This step draws the specified amount of tunnels on the floor, starting from the edge of any room or hall.

Fields

This step has the following fields.

Turn Length

The range of the number of tiles the tunnel will dig forward before changing directions.

Max Length

The range of the largest tile length the tunnel can possibly be.

Allow Dead End

If checked, tunnels may lead to dead ends. Else, tunnels are forced to touch another room/hall.

Traverse Floor

If checked, tunnels are allowed to penetrate through passable tiles. Note that they will not replace non-wall terrain they encounter.

Halls

The range of the amount of tunnels to dig.

Brush

The hall brush that will be used to paint the tunnels.
