Effect
This status causes the Pokémon to be rendered incapable of taking any action. It wears off after a few turns.
Cause
Paused is often caused from sources of self-infliction that result in losing a turn. It is usually not inflicted on other Pokémon by foes. Sources include the ability truant and recharge moves like hyper beam.
