Magic Guard is an ability in PMDO.
Effects
Most forms of damage other than attacks and items will not harm the user. Damage normally caused by most traps, weather, and status conditions will be nullified.
Explosion traps will still damage the user, as they mimic the effect of the attack of the same name.
