Description Avoids the strongest super-effective move that the opposing Pokémon has.

Anticipation is an ability in PMDO.

Effects

When attacked by a super-effective move, the Anticipation user will automatically avoid it if is the strongest super-effective move that enemy has. Anticipation ignores the usual rules for attack missing and always activates.

If the enemy only has one super-effective move, that move will always be avoided.

The strength of the attacks is determined by their base power, whether or not they're 2x or 4x effective makes no difference.

Outside multipliers such as same-type attack bonus, abilities that increase a move's power, or attacks that differ in power based off of certain conditions, such as distance, are still only counted using their base power.

In the case of a draw, the first move to appear in that Pokémon's movelist will be considered the stronger attack.
