Roguelocke mode is a game mode that can be accessed from the main menu after attempting Guildmaster Trail for the first time.
Gameplay

The objective of Roguelocke mode is to successfully complete a dungeon while starting the run with no items and only one Pokémon. While the Player must begin with one Pokemon, they may still recruit new members over the course of the dungeon, and the run may still be completed by one of those members even if the starter has fainted.
Any Pokémon that the Player has obtained in the main story or in a prior Roguelocke run may be chosen as a starter. Additionally, if an already-evolved Pokémon has been recruited, its pre-evolutions will be available as well. The starter Pokémon is customizable, with all abilities and alternate forms being selectable even if they were not previously unlocked by the Player in the main story. However, the starter's moveset cannot be changed, and will always contain the 4 most recently learned moves at that dungeon's starting level.
A Roguelocke may be saved and resumed at any time, but after a defeat the Player must begin the dungeon over from scratch, with no option to be rescued. If a dungeon is successfully completed, the Player is given the option to transfer any items or recruited Pokémon they obtained to their story save. While all Roguelocke dungeons allow items to be transferred, only some allow Pokémon to be.
Scoring

After either clearing the dungeon or being defeated, a replay of the run will be saved and the Player will be presented with their final score. The Player's score is a combination of their Money on hand as well as the total value of all items currently in their bag. Some dungeons may also have a bonus score, which is added to the final score if a specific condition is met.
While the game keeps track of how long the run takes, time is not included in the Player's score.
Dungeons

Initially, Guildmaster Trail is the only dungeon available in Roguelocke mode. As the Player progresses through the game, the following dungeons will become available for Roguelocke mode if they are discovered in the story.
