The Combine Grid Room Step is a floor generation step. It is used exclusively in Grid Floor Generation. Its typical priority is -4.
Usage
This step merges rooms in separate cells into one single room.
Fields
Combine Grid Room Step has the following fields.
Merge Rate
The amount of merges that will be performed in the grid plan. This can be a range for a degree of randomization.
Filters
Conditions rooms must meet in order to be viable targets for merges.
For more information on how filters can be used, see generation filters.
Room Components
When a room is created through merging, these are the components the resulting room will be tagged as. For more information on the components, see Room Components.
Combos
Settings for how rooms are generated during the merge. Each possible combo has its own weight.
The size determines how many cells are taken up by the merge, while the giant room defines what type of room will be generated inside that cell upon merge.
