| Description | Passes the effect of Berries to nearby allies. |
Harvest is an ability in PMDO.
Effects
If the Harvest user eats a berry, all allies within a 1-tile area will also receive the full effect of the berry.
If any of the Pokémon's allies have an ability that activates in response to eating a berry, such as Cud Chew or Cheek Pouch, it will activate.
Strategy
Using Harvest
- Depending on party size, Harvest effectively doubles to quadruples the amount of berries in the user's inventory.
- More expensive recovery items, such as Max Elixirs and Max Potions, can instead be saved or sold to shops, as the user gets the same effect from using the much more common and inexpensive Leppa and Oran berries.
- While doing an escort quest, Harvest can be used to recover the HP of the client Pokémon as well.
Fighting Harvest
- While it is rare for enemy Pokémon to have and use berries, in the event that you do come across a Harvest user with one, try to get them to use it while at least 1 tile away from any other Pokémon.
