Effects

The Pokémon always recovers from the Sleep status after 1 turn, regardless of what move, ability, or item caused the status.

Strategy

Using Early Bird

  • If Rest is used, the Pokémon will be able to fully recover their HP and status, then immediately wake up without missing any turns of action.

Fighting Early Bird

  • Against enemies with Early Bird, items such as Sleep Orbs and Sleep Seeds generally become much less valuable. However, the enemy waking up after using a Stayaway Orb will get them off of the stairs for you without a fight.
