| Description | This Pokémon's dust blocks the additional effects of attacks taken. |
Shield Dust is an ability in PMDO.
Effects
The additional effects of the enemy's moves can never activate against the Shield Dust user. If an enemy's move were to hit both the Shield Dust user and their allies at the same time, the additional effect can still activate against the allies.
Additional effects caused by most items are also prevented; attacks used while equipped with King's Rock can not cause a Pokémon with Shield Dust to flinch, for instance.
However, additional effects caused by exclusive items will still activate. An Umbreon using an Umbreon Card will still be able to make foes flinch using their regular attack.
