Soundproof gives the user immunity to all damaging sound-based attacks, such as [[Uproar]], and negative sound-based status moves, such as [[Growl]].

The user will take no damage from an enemy Pokemon's [[Round]], but will join in on the attack if an ally Pokemon uses Round. Likewise, the user will still gain attack from an ally Pokemon's [[Howl]].
