While it is [[hail]]ing or [[Map_Statuses#Snow|snow]]ing, the user will [[forced_miss|automatically avoid]] moves used on it from a distance of more than 1 tile away.

In the case of enemies, both attacks and status moves will be avoided. In the case of allies, attacks will be avoided, but beneficial status moves such as [[Life Dew]] or [[Howl]] will work as normal.

The Pokémon will take no damage from hail regardless of its current typing.
