Base Town is the largest settlement of Pokémon on Guildmaster Island. It is located right next to Base Camp.

Story

After wiping out of Guildmaster Trail, Noctowl suggests that the player visit Base Town in order to stock up on supplies for the challenges ahead.

Facilities

Kecleon Shop

This is a shop where the player may purchase many common and useful items with their hard earned Poké. This shop is notable as being the only source of Escape Orbs and Revival Orbs.

Blaziken

Blaziken offers several services relating to moves.

Recall Move

For 500 Poké, Blaziken will allow a party member to relearn moves. The moves available for recall include:

  • All level-up moves that would be available at the party member's current level.
  • Any previously learned move that is no longer part of the party member's level-up learnset.
  • Any previously learned TM move.

Forget Move

For free, Blaziken will allow a party member to forget a move. Any forgotten move will still be available for recall.

Sableye's Treasure Trade

Sableye will exchange exclusive items for other exclusive items for a fee. Sableye will offer higher-tier exclusive items for any family for which the player already has one exclusive item for, as well as a rotating selection of random exclusive items in exchange for multiple exclusive items from any family and the usual fee.

Voltorb

Voltorb will open treasure boxes and give you the contents for 150 Poké each.

Pelipper Post Office

The Pelipper Post Office offers various services relating to rescuing other players who may have been KO'd in a dungeon.

Connectivity Counter

The Pelipper on the left will provide an explantion of allow the player to add other players to their contact list, change their team name and portraits, and configure rescue servers.

Mail Counter

The Pelipper on the right will provide an explanation of Rescues and allow the player to manage Mail from within the game.

Kricketune

Kricketune will allow the player to change the current music playing in Base Town to any other music track heard previously.

Other NPCs

Big Apple Clefairy

The Clefairy standing by the entrance to Base Camp will give the player a Big Apple.

Shuckle

There is a Shuckle running a juice stand, but the stand is closed and not offering any services.
